Who runs this site

jigarjoshi.in is the personal and professional site of Jigar Joshi, operated through WanBuffer Services. In this policy, "we" and "I" both mean that. The site offers agentic AI consulting, corporate training, writing, and speaking. It has no user accounts and no login.

What I collect, and why

I collect the minimum needed to respond to you and to understand which content is useful.

  • Contact form. Your name, email, and the message you send, so I can reply and scope work. Submissions are stored in WanBuffer's CRM.
  • Newsletter. Your email address, so I can send the weekly note. You can unsubscribe from any issue.
  • Analytics. Aggregate, mostly anonymised usage data (pages viewed, rough location, device, referrer) via Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity. This helps me see which posts and pages earn their place.
  • Server logs. Standard web-server and CDN logs (IP address, timestamp, request) kept briefly for security and debugging.

I do not ask for sensitive personal data, and please do not send any through the contact form.

Cookies and analytics

The analytics tools above set cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits. They are used for product and content decisions, not for advertising. The site itself does not run ad networks or sell ad space. You can block cookies in your browser, and the site still works for reading.

Who I share data with

I do not sell your data. I share it only with the service providers that run parts of this site, and only so they can do their job:

  • Google (Analytics, Tag Manager) and Microsoft (Clarity), for usage analytics.
  • Cloudflare, for content delivery and security in front of the site.
  • WanBuffer's CRM, for storing and replying to contact and newsletter submissions.
  • WhatsApp / Meta, only if you choose to message via the WhatsApp links.

If a legal request or a genuine safety issue requires it, I may disclose data to the extent the law requires.

How long I keep it

Contact and CRM records are kept while there is an active or likely engagement, and a reasonable period after for follow-up and records. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics is retained per the tools' default retention windows. Ask me to delete your data and I will, unless I am required to keep it.

Your choices and rights

  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any issue.
  • Ask for a copy of the data I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it.
  • Block or clear cookies in your browser.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. Depending on where you live, local laws such as the GDPR or India's DPDP Act may give you additional rights; I aim to honour reasonable requests regardless of location.

Children

This site is meant for professionals and is not directed at children under 16. I do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, I update the date at the top. Material changes will be obvious on this page.
